marriage per Islamic values. By adhering to these guidelines, users contribute to a

trustworthy and purpose-driven platform. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

1.1. You must be a practicing Muslim or genuinely willing to revert to Islam and abide by

Islamic principles in marriage.

1.2. Users must be at least 18 years of age and of sound mind to enter into a legal and

Islamic marital contract.

1.3. This platform is strictly for individuals seeking Nikah (Islamic marriage) by Islamic

teachings. It is not intended for casual relationships, dating, or friendships outside the

bounds of marriage.

1.4. Users are required to complete the marriage preparation course provided on the

website. The course covers essential Islamic knowledge on marriage, including rights,

responsibilities, and conflict resolution based on the Quran and Sunnah.

1.5. Upon completing the course, users must take a knowledge evaluation exam. The

exam score will be displayed on each candidate’s profile to reflect their understanding of

Islamic marriage principles, promoting informed decision-making in the matching process.

1.6. Users who fail to complete the course or exam will not be eligible to contact or be

contacted by other members.

Platform Guidelines for a Safe and Shari'ah-Compliant Experience

1. Involvement of Wali (Guardian) for Single Women

To protect female users from unwanted virtual harassment and ensure that the marriage

process adheres to Islamic guidelines, contact details of the wali (guardian) must be

provided during registration. The involvement of the wali is mandatory for single women

and plays a key role in facilitating the process in accordance with Shari’ah.

2. Account Registration and Use

2.1. Users must provide accurate and truthful information when creating their profiles.

Misleading or incomplete profiles will not be tolerated.2.2. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Do not share your password or login information with anyone.

2.3. Users are prohibited from creating profiles on behalf of others without their explicit

consent.

2.4. Any attempt to mislead, impersonate, or provide false information will result in

immediate account termination.

3. Profile Photo Viewing and Censorship Policy

To promote modesty and privacy, profile photos will be censored by default. Users can

request to view a profile photo, and these requests are renewable every 24 hours to

prevent “window shopping” or time-wasting behavior.

This policy is designed to ensure serious intentions and respectful interaction between

users.

4. Knowledge Evaluation Retake Policy

All users are required to complete a marriage preparation course provided by the platform

and pass a knowledge evaluation test.

Candidates who fail the evaluation test will be allowed to repeat the course and retake the

exam until they achieve a passing score. This process ensures that all users possess a

solid understanding of Islamic marriage principles before engaging in matchmaking.

5. Matching Based on Knowledge Scores

Candidates will be matched with those who have the same or higher knowledge

evaluation scores. However, users have the option to allow lower-scoring candidates to

be matched with them if they choose to do so.

This system ensures that users are matched with individuals who possess a similar

understanding of Islamic marital responsibilities.

6. Comprehensive Candidate Essay

To enhance transparency and facilitate meaningful communication, candidates are

encouraged to post a comprehensive essay on their profile.This essay should include:

● Criteria for a Potential Spouse

● Life perspective and values

● Career plans and aspirations

● Marriage goals

 

Providing this information helps users engage in serious conversations with better insight

into each other’s intentions, reducing superficial interactions.

7. Inactive Profile Termination

Profiles that remain inactive for 6 months will be automatically terminated to maintain a

platform of active and serious users.

Users will receive a notification before termination and will have the option to reactivate

their account within a specified time frame.

3. Islamic Guidelines

3.1. All communication on the platform must adhere to Islamic etiquette — no inappropriate

language, flirting, or indecent proposals.

3.2. The purpose of interaction must be serious and marriage-focused.

3.3. Haram (unlawful) behavior, such as sharing inappropriate images or content, will not

be tolerated.

4. Privacy and Security

4.1. Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your personal details without your

explicit consent.

4.2. You agree not to misuse any information obtained through the platform.

4.3. Do not share sensitive personal information such as financial details on the platform.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1. Islamic guardianship (wali) must be involved in the process when necessary.

5.2. Users are responsible for verifying the authenticity of the profiles they engage with.

5.3. The platform is not responsible for the outcome of any marriage arrangements made

through the website.6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

6.1. Use the platform for non-marital purposes.

6.2. Engage in fraudulent behavior or solicit money from other users.

6.3. Promote any un-Islamic practices.

6.4. Harass, stalk, or abuse other members.

7. Termination of Account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate

these terms or engage in any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful to the community.

8. Disclaimers

8.1. Ghuraba MuslimMatrimoy does not guarantee the success of any marriage arranged

through the platform.

8.2. We are not responsible for any misrepresentation or misconduct by users.

8.3. Users must conduct their due diligence and involve their families in the marriage

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. You will be notified of any

significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Islamic principles and applicable local laws.
